I was making beats one day and decided to play my trumpet over one of them (now titled CM Waves in the project). Admittedly, I hadn't played in a while up to this point, but I was submerged in how much fun it was once I got started. I had two other beats I knew that fit the vibe and ended up soloing one beat after another.

I practiced for about thirty mins on each beat trying to find the notes and style I wanted to play. I didn't want to take too long and lose the "lightning" for the takes, so I immediately recorded after I knew it was time. Each trumpet solo was recorded on the first take and recorded in one go. With knowledge of the key of the beat (because I produced it) I used that knowledge to play a solo in key.

In a mix of spontaneity, timing and skill I had produced these 3 unique tracks.
